Here's a preview of what's coming at Steve Maxwell Pro Percussion. We recently signed with Gretsch as a full line dealer. We will be dedicating a large part of our shop to "Gretsch: Old and New". In this section we will showcase our cadillac nitron green RB era kits; our ever changing inventory of RB sets for sale, and, we will have more Gretsch USA kits in stock than any other dealer in the USA. We have 14 USA kits on the way, and most of these are in the popular 12/14/18 BeBop configuration with matching snare drum. This will allow you to experience the heritage of Gretsch from their round badge era heyday and also see the current version of That Great Gretsch Sound in a traditional BeBop configuration in many colors. Some of the kits are here now, and more are on the way. If you are in Chicago come by the shop. The cadillac nitron green Gretsch kits alone are worth the trip. This is the same color and configuration as the house kit at the famous Birdland night club in NYC during the 50s, and with only about a dozen known examples of this kit in the world we are very lucky to have three of them, one of which is for sale.
