please help me
i just bought the 70s stopsign gretsch drum, on the bass kick it has 2 kind of claw, the other is gretsch i can tell but the other is?.... please tell me is it grestch?

I've never seen a claw like that on a Gretsch drums - but I've not looked at every Gretsch for every year.

Later 70's inner tag (no warranty declaration). White wrap, three holes (one looks extra) and an outline of some kind of mount? What size kick?

The claw is a 70's Pearl claw not gretsch..The legs mounts are wrong also the out line of the mount looks to be a Ludwig mount.
The gretsch mount would have three holes that would go up and down on the side of the drum,not like the mount that you have on the drum the holes are left to right..Mikey

Or it could be that the large plugged hole is for the Gretsch leg/spur mount.
Like/similar to these ones.........
