ok last time i promise. If you could get one or the other... which one would you get... money not an issue as they are only a few hundred different.

63ish progressive jazz with matching 4x14, near immaculate, serial # within 100 digits. champagne. original owner bought together.

59 progressive jazz, 12 is 3 ply, 14 and 20 are 6 ply, no serials, no matching snare, but i saw a 4x14 on the bay that is a good match.

ALSO : is the 4x14 that much better than the 5x14 to double the cost?

Champagne, all day long. All together and ready to go. And, nice the OO has them for sale.

Good luck and let us all know.

Side Note: What's with the FT legs? Didn't catch that. They should be straighter, no?

Still, champagne.

Mister T keep them keep them !

Ok you sold me. Now i'm trying to determine which snare to keep. The 4160 or the bdp 5x14 from my 3rd rb kit -also in bdp- color is slightly more silver on the early 60's set than my main player kit. I really like the wood but i hate to separate a matching kit all in the 95xx serial range.... Especially since they are an exact match with the exact fading etc. Snare is near mint but the rest of that kit has wrap issues. The shells and hardware are all great and rust free though. I would sell it and buy another bdp snare in the 40000 serial range if i could find one. The early 60's bdp set has to go to help pay bills.
