Gretsch Red Glass Round Badge Vintage JAZZ Kit Last viewed: 46 minutes ago
So I finally got around to checking Ebay for prices. Which probably makes everyone in here cringe. But I understand 15% of the total gets eaten up in fees. So far I've seen 2 similar 20/14/12 going for between $1800-2400.
And noticed 14" FT go for a lot, pushing $750 almost every time.
Now mine are in very similar condition and will include 60s era Gretsch Hi Hat and Cymbal Stands, and Bass Pedal. Along with the cymbal Attachment for the Bass Drum.
Mine also include the bottom hoops on all the drums and all the tension rods.
All Internal Mufflers are intact and in great shape as well.
CONS: I believe the bass drum was a re wrap job. It is missing the round badge. And in cleaning it I noticed two wrap seems on the bottom of the bass drum. Meaning it seems to have been put on in two pieces. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with its condition though.
All that being said. I don't think I'm out of line asking for $2000.
I will have full set photos up this weekend.
Snare Throw Off and Butt Photos.
The two seams and missing badge on the bass drum are both very normal...it looks original to me.
2 g's is way fair if u are including that snare and hardware...
i tried scoopin these up cheap ...damn the educated seller! :P
Drum Rolllllll....

Agree,
Looks like a very good deal for the $$. Someone save me from grabbing it!
Alright looks like I'm putting it on the Bay. $1800 if anyone wants to come pick it up in MA.
Just as a point of information: Any drum over 18" in diameter requires -two- pieces of wrap to cover it. The two seams on the bottom of your 20" bass drum is -normal- and really the only way it can be done. There is no such thing as a wrap sheet manufactured by Delmar longer than 54". You need 62"+ to cover a 20" inch drum. Ergo... two pieces needed. It 'may not' be a rewrap!
