Gretsch rosewood values Last viewed: 8 hours ago

I've always wanted a Gretsch rosewood set. Can anyone give a ballpark idea of what I should expect to pay for an 80s or 90s rosewood kit with a 20" bass, 14" FT, and 10" or 12" rack tom?

Also, is there a big difference in price between jazz and rock sizes for this era, as there is for RBs?

Lastly: where did the "how much is this worth?" forum go? I tried to post there, but couldn't find it.

Kits:
1950s Gretsch Name Band in Midnight Blue Pearl (13/16/22/14sn)
1965/66 Ludwig Club Dates rewrapped in Black Diamond Pearl (12/15/20)

Yes there is a price difference in sizing, a smaller jazz kit will sale for more than a rock size kit would, example the sizes your looking at, this will run you at least $1000.00, a 18" 0r 20" bass drum from gretsch demands a price premium, as opposed to a 24" or 26" bass drum rock size would!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

This 20-12-14 kit was for sale for a while, and eventually sold for $1595.
