Found this put up locally... Buyer wants $350 firm.
Looks like a nice Gretsch resto project and probably would be if all parts were present. Missing bass hoop and looks like extra holes from a swivo-matic mount on the 22" What do you think?

It's a deal. Floor shell is probably worth around that. Badges...no question.
Having been forced into a rewrap of a fairly trashed RB kit, I can tell you the end result sound and guilt-free ability to play it anywhere is pretty fantastic. This set doesn't appear to need too many parts and the claws and T-rods are not hard to find (but can be pricey). You'd have to do the math on the cost of a wrap to see if it pencils out. And I'd be careful if you are planning to resell with a non-original finish and extra holes in the bass drum. But if after all of that it prices out way below what a comparable Gretsch Rond Badge is going for and it's for personal playing, I guarantee you'll love the sound.
Good luck.
Thanks guys!
I just talked to the owner. He has an extra bass to throw in with claws and rods and one spur. With that I sealed the deal...Going to pick it up tomorrow morning.

No brainer! Congrats!
There are always deals to be found along the 401 windsor corridor. Congrats on the catch.

Thanks for the comments.
I was really debating this one, but can see the outcome will be very good, especially as a possible re-wrap player since the badges are there.
