Hi everyone. First post and not good with computers, so I hope this winds up in the right spot(sorry if it doesn't). Here goes. I was wondering if anybody could help me out with a year est. on a recent kit purchase. The kit is as follows Gretsch round badge 20 inch bass 3 ply shells silver interiors. The tension rods on the bass are the bow tie rods. The rail mount is placed in a different position then my mid 60s gretsch set, lower and in torwards the player a bit. The cymbal L arm bracket is off to the side(like my 60s set) and has the bolts that go all the way through it so the head of the bolt is visable, not in the center. The 12 rack 3ply has silver interior, stick chopper hoops. The 14 6ply floor tom has the silver interior and the diamond bracket with the bolts coming through also. The hoops on the floor are non original, Ludwigs I think. The set appears to be born of the same set. All fade is equal. I think the set is around 57 or 58 but Im no expert. Thats why Im asking here. I know pictures would help but again Im not good with that kinda stuff. I'm very pleased with the set although I havent got the chance to play it yet. Every thing looks good, and I can tell it'll sound good just by the few times Ive tapped on it. Just lookin for a second opinion. Thanks a lot, hope to hear some opinions soon.
