The following model numbers are from Larry Bunker's "polished maple" Gretsch set (12/16/20) which he played in '64-'65 with the second Bill Evans trio. This could be one of the earliest maple finished Gretsch sets as they were only available to their artists and not the general public.

Any idea what the serial numbers are on these drums?

Collecting information about the following for ongoing research projects:
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72

Unfortunately not. I found the model/size info on a Larry Bunker tribute sight which lists all his kits; cymbals; sticks; etc. I do know that he joined Bill Evans sometime in '63 and toured with this set in '64-'65.

Never play it the same way once.
