Already narrowed it down to the Swing Man set, I have 2 tunable hoop mounted toms :)

My kit consists of:

13x9 tunable tom with tack bottom

14x12 tunable tom with tack bottom

14x27 bass drum with original playable calf heads (thank god)

14x6.5 Broadkaster solid maple (no plies) snare drum <---- absolutely fabulous sounding and now my go to snare!

Cool ! Here is getting all the layers of dirt off a Duco finish. And a few coats of wax. Bit of camera effect. Color is solid.Creighton

Okay, what did you use to clean it with and what kind of wax?

I'm going to attempt to restore :)

Here is the catalog pic closest to your set and as it reads bold, "Blue and Silver duco." The catalog set has one non-tunable tom. Enjoy!

I had a similar Gretsch set from the '40s with those same hoop spurs. I never realized Gretsch intended those to go on the batter hoop! I always clamped them onto the reso hoop.

Pretty sure having them depicted that way was just for the catalog mate ;)
