Here you have a Gretsch Jasper shell jazz kit in satin ebony, bop sizes: 8 x 12, 14 x 14 floor and a 14 x 18 bass with a mount. This is the old style, gunmetal die-cast hoops and hardware, made in the early 90s. It is beautiful. I will include very nice, padded soft cases for all the drums.

So here's the scoop: the 12 def. shows wear but the other drums are in excellent condition. Very, very few scratches on the 14 and bass drum and no dings. The pictures showing the 12" are very, very close up. From in front, the kit looks perfect. Looking at the side of the drum where the scratches are from even a few feet away, they look very minor but there is def. this scratch and some snare-side rash. But it's only when you get up very close (with a camera and flash) and turn the drum around that you can see the scratches. But the structural integrity of the shells is perfect, as are the bearing edges on all drums.

One of the bass drum hoops is cracked but the head still goes on and the drum still sounds great. But you can obviously buy an 80 dollar hoop in satin ebony from Precision drums.

In other words, this is a players kit and perfect for someone who wants a Jasper shell kit, but doesn't have the 2000 plus to pay for one. They sound amazing but if you need them to be aesthetically perfect, these aren't for you. That said, from the front, they do look perfect, as you can see, and the edges are perfect. I just took off all the heads for inspection.

1450 to your door inside the Continental USA. Sorry no trades.

If it makes any difference, someone on Reverb has Broadkaster Ebony singles for sale: 13" tom tom, 16 floor tom, and even a matching 5.5 snare. You could build the ultimate jazz kit.
