Not sure what the protocol is here, but the search is over. If anyone was concerned about me finding a vintage 18 you can stop stressing :). I still cant believe it but I actually found a nice Gretsch vintage 18 floor tom which was originally made from a bass drum shell. It will now become part of my early 60's progressive jazz kit!
