Anybody know the exact grommit size I should use to re install badges on 60s slings?

I get the 7/16" from Precision drum.

There's also a place in Illinoi that has the exact Slingerland style grommet.

Maybe someone can help refresh my memory who the person is that has them.

I originally purchased mine from "Chicago Drum and Restoration" Here's the link...

http://www.chicagodrumandrestoration.com/products/slingerlandreproductiongrommets.html

They've now come down a bit in price, at about $4.50 each. Shipping used to be $15, but is now showing as $10 when I put my ZIP in. Precision Drum is also carrying both lengths, at around $6 each. Might even be less expensive for shipping.

Keep in mind that these grommets are aluminum and harder to flange over than the typical grommet. I purchased a tool specifically for these grommets, which is different from the other $40 tool that everyone talks about, but don't see them for sale any more on eBay.

Just heard back from my buddy, John. He still has 2 of the custom-made grommet tools. Each tool comes with 5 grommets, your choice of 3 or 5 ply. The cost is $75 plus shipping. John informs me that after these tools are gone, that will be it. I'll also post this under a separate topic.
