I was asked to fill in for a dummer on sat night, standard oldies, anyway long short, we are doing this tune and I hear a sax playing, I look around, we have no sax player/ first thing I thought of was the organ, I remembered that keys can simualte different intrumental sounds, but when I looked at his hands, it was not in time with the sax, confused I'm looking around the room, then thinking maybe they have the sax piped in through a board or something, then I look at the guitar and holly crap, it was him playing the sax on the guitar, now listen to this, it was not just a similar sound as a sax, IT WAS A SAX!! when we got done with the song, I leaned over and said, so that was you on the sax? Yeah, pretty cool eh? That was the cooliest thing I ever heard on a guitar, blew me away..........that will put the horn section out of business pretty quick. LOL>
