By locally do you mean on here, or in your area?

I had the hi hat stand version of that pedal recently. The springs were a little complicated and wacky, but it worked great. I sold it for $40 on Craigslist if memory serves. It was not in very great cosmetic condition, but felt/played killer. I bet the bass pedal is awesome! If its worth more than $30/$40 to you Id recommend keeping it and playing it!

Zacxzac: Both! When you deal with people from the forums you pretty much know that youre dealing with knowledgeable people and when you deal on your area you just go to the sellers place, check the drum (s) and pay or just pass...but Ebay: theres shipping charges, insurance, fees, the seller does not want to answer your questions, Paypal its mandatory, they dont know if the drums its being modified, you cannot check the drum in person...etc,etc,etc...Besides being in LA theres always drums to buy...

I've gotta agree with you there.

The only drums I've bought on eBay have either been after the auction (inspection + cash) or a let down.
