HY guys, i always played an coated Ambasssador on this Snare and i was always satisfied with the sound, but maybe there is a better head out for this snare?

I like the Snare tuned high! Maybe some of you have some experiences with some other heads, to give me a little hint:-)

Diplomat for greatest sensitivity, that's what they are all about. I think it was original on the bottom as well.

The mistake people always made with the Dynasonic was trying to get a fat, honking backbeat out of it. Very difficult since that is not what it was made for. The drum was developed with Buddy Rich in mind: he wanted the most sensitivity and clarity and maxed-out ghost note response. That's what the drum delivers.

The reason so many show up without snare frames is twofold: a lack of understanding in how to set up the frame/wires and/or unhappiness with the sound.

@DanC

THXS thats a cool info;-) i mean it´s not that i am not satisfied with the sound, oh no, she sounds great- i just always thought, there is maybe more in it:-)

I still have the frame on it, because i think - you should never change a runnning system:-)
