I've been away for a while, but have been missing the good conversations with good people about one of my favorite topics. So, I intend to visit the forum more frequently than I have in the past few years...but probably not to the extent that I did before my hiatus. Anyway, I look forward to reconnecting with several of you that I remember fondly, and meeting some new vintage drum junkies like myself.

While I'm here, I'll share a pic of one of my most recent vintage drum acquisitions...a '67 LM402 Supraphonic.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
