No but I'd like to visit the country before I die. I am 100% Polish but was born, raised here in the United States. I was raised on gamlupki, kielbasa, pierogi, and other meaty foods like that.

Hence I am a vegetarian today, but .... :)

Welcome!

Welcome to the greatest site for vintage drum discussion. Lots of experts here to answer any questions. We all love pictures, so post any photos you have of your vintage drums (ask for help if you have any trouble with the attachment process).

And yes, there are members here from Poland. Here's a recent post from one of your fellow countrymen in Warsaw...

Welcome. YES!! There are other members from Poland on the forum, at least two that I recall quickly.

If you use the search bar and just do a simple search on Poland you should find them.Group Hug

You know that never occured to me... polish (as in to make shiny) is spelled that same as Polish as to be from Poland... good point lots and lots of threads on how to polish drums.

Polish note: I am a Columbus Crew fan and Robert Warzycha, a proud son of Poland, is a former star and now head coach of our massive club!

Welcome to VDF!

... and, there are -no girls- here, :( it's an all-male cast! If VDF had a disco-ball, music and lights, it would be like a g*y-bar in here! No chicky-poos in sight. Lots of cowboys, no cowbettes. Cool Dude LOL

LOL! I love Seinfeld... I was thinking of a gene Hackman line when I wrote it. Do you remember the movie Gene Hackman made with Denzel Washington about a mutiny on a nuclear submarine? A reporter had asked Gene in an interview what it was like working on the film and he responded; "It was like going to work at a g*y-disco! Lots of sweaty guys with their shirts off, running around and the subs emergency lights flashing..." LOL
