Welcome, if your "mummy' is anything like my "wifey" you have to start to hide your collection in places of the house she does not visit often. LOL. Putting them in bags and cases helps, that way when she asks what is in all thoss bags you can tell her its all the kids toys you packed away. LOL

Welcome

My wife does not much care for my collection either. She would preferr if I had a way to display some of my collection in either a display case or shelf. I always tell her that my drums are an investment in the future.

Welcome, Tex!

Take note and heed the words of Slingerland and PTMatt though! They are gems of the truth spoken by very wise gentlemen!!!

Howdy. You could enhance the drums' values by saying things like:" This was used for "Won't Get Fooled Again" or "Three Coins in a Fountain", ( whatever SHE digs.) It's NOT a lie if you leave out the part , that YOU played it to those records,er,cd's. Be sure to say these things with a straight face.

Hi ya Tex. Welcome! Yep it's hard to hide drums around here too. My wife is VERY good about my hobbys. Fair is fair though so whatever I happen to spend on something she gets to buy something for herself of equal value. Happy wife, happy life as they say. LOL. Congrats on the Slingerlands!! Please post some pics when you ge them. We all like to see pictures~!
