Welcome to VDF John, always good to have another member on board. It's a great place to chat vintage drums and such.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Welcome Mud! Post some pictures of your inventory or at least a list. Specialize in one brand? Nice to have you on board.

Thanks for the welcome... appreciated...rather than make a list, Ill just say that Ive collected for 2 decades and have over 120 snares now....Ive off loaded most of my kits, because they just sat around, and kept the snares.....I think my favorite kit is a 1940 WMP kit that was Barrett Deems kit. I purchased it from his widow about 10 years ago....a true gem that oozes history. 28" bass, 12-13-14 toms and a sweet 10 lug snare(old school imperial lugs).....I also just acquired a Ludwig Oyster Blue 4 pc is minty nice shape, so right now its on the fave list just because its new to me....maybe not what everyone here is into, but Ive developed an affection for older Tama drums and some off brands, cause Ive grown a little weary of the Rogers-Ludwig Slingerland thing....donty get me wrong, they are all wonderful, but after 20 years you need something new to tingle the taste buds....sure happy to be here, its been years since Ive chatted drums!

Welcome to the forum. This place is friendly, people are very helpful, and respectful of each other.

The cool thing about this forum is that people are into MIJ drums, and we have a lot of topics about European drums, and there are some posters from eastern Europe that post pics and info about these cool old drums that previously I knew nothing about.
