OK, Bob...so....whatch'a got ? Excited (drums....)
eamesuser- I too am a sometimes Eames user. I have a 6 1/2 shell that sits in a free floating cradle that is an amazing snare.Right now I have a 14x14 in the studio a w/Blk Suede on top and CS on the bottom.
Mt. Laurel is nice. It's a ways south of here.
Jaye- I'm hoping to shoot some short clips of my drums with my Zoom Q3 and post a link to youtube. That way it can be a 350 degree view plus sound.
My favorite vintage drum is a L&L Peacock Pearl Super, snares top and bottom.
I have a bunch of snare drums including some cool custom drums.
My favorite vintage set is an Oaklawn 20,13,14, 5 1/2, formally (Bermuda Sand?) I butchered it as a youngster but it atill has the tone.
Right now, live, I am playing a Mapex Saturn Green Apple Fade (or burst?)
A gift from my wonderful girlfriend for my 50th the Sat. (I opened them early, Ha!)
Thanks for the welcome.-Bobby
