I recently got hold of this Ludwig external bass drum muffler. The hinge is marked "WM.F.L. Drum Co. - Chicago U.S.A.", but the clamp itself does not show any Ludwig branding. The felt is in pretty good condition and the disc is very shiny (does not look very old). Does anyone know how old this one could be? Is it original or are any parts a recent add-on?
