Hi again..... I'm looking for I.D. information on these drums. I recently purchased the complete set. According to the previous owner, it's a BIG R kit from the mid to late 70's. The 12" tom (pics one and two) is the only drum that has a serial number, D 962065. The 13" (pics three and four), 16" F.T. and 22" B.D. do not have serial numbers. I posted the COB snare in a previous thread. The drums are in great condition for their age. Looks like all original parts....even have the original heads on toop and bottom. Looking I.D. their age, shell ply, edges, and other relevant Rogers information. Thanks.

1979-80, Early XP8. The snare drum sort of establishes a date for you. That is definitely early XP8 period. Solid top knobs on the dampener and throw, with the combination of numbers, and your No Serial Badges..... that's whatcha got.
Eight ply All American maple, best edges in the world at that time.

Great information. What do you think the kit is worth with and without the snare? It includes the original double tom mount, floor tom legs, and the base drum feet...... Thanks again.
