Hi all, maybe someone out there will know what they're looking at here. It's a 16" bass drum with 10" Tom Tom. Some sort of Sonor kid's set?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Wow! That is not at all what I was expecting to see!

My best suggestion would be to contact Sonor Germany. They have an amazing museum there and the production records to go with it.

Neat little kit!

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that as a plan B if I can't find out here on the forum. I know there are some serious Sonor fans on here. They're holding out on me. :)

Looks like somebody built this out of a few Drumparts! I don`t think this is Sonor factory made! Bassdrumspurs are from a Sonor Action!

Thanks Christian. That's pretty much what I thought. Usually when I see a question mark in the ad description, ie. Sonor? I know there's no chance of it being Sonor. I didn't read the description for this because it was in German and I don't speak the language. Just now that I'm noticing where it says "Sonor?" I still think it's a cool set and I wouldn't mind having it.

Looks to be parts from the Rocker kit added to someone`s creation.

The claws, wing nuts, spurs, tom mount and pole can be put on a Rocker kit. Those beginners kits from the 70`s had inlay on the painted metal BD hoops, so Looks like someone had shells and hoops from a single tension kit.

Like to see inside. and a few more pics. Just guesswork now.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

You have a good eye for this sort of thing. Thanks for your help. I've no idea what the shells are. They don't seem to be drilled for lugs and I don't think they're MIJ. It's a 14 x 16 bass drum (16" diameter) It's most likely German made like Tromsa or Deri or something. I'm probably not going to buy this. Starting bid is over €100. I like it, but not that much.
