Any help in identifying this snare would be appreciated. I have no info other than these pics. I could possibly take more photos in the future.

That's tough given the age on that bad boy. First I would take it apart and look for any engraving on the shell. It looks to be a metal shell ( correct me if I'm wrong ) And I know the bigger companies of the time did usually engrave their name. I'll take a look through some catalogs, but those early 1900's drums can be tricky to trace. Though what really has me perplexed is both the strainer and the fact that the lugs appear to be mounted directly to the drum rims. I can't recall having seen that before.

It is a metal shell. I'll look inside next time I'm close.
I'm guessing this is either a Duplex or more likely a German marching snare. I've had one similar. Possibly Tromsa, Lefima or Sonor.
This is very early 19th century, (maybe earlier?). I am thinking European by the looks of those tenioners. I really don't think it is Duplex.
