My dad just came across a heap of vintage gear, most of which I can't seem to find much on. I was hoping someone here might be able to help me ID some of it, and give me some information.

Any help at all would be incredibly appreciated!!

Leedy Lightweight Pedal

Lowboy Setup?

My immediate thought here was a Duncan lowboy setup, particularly due to the large-belled cymbals (below). Definitely not sure though.

Beater

Tied with shoelace. Appears to be cotton on the inside, although I am unsure about the outside layer.

Has been painted gold at some point to match Leedy pedal.

Cowbell w/clamp

Cowbell has also been painted gold at some point to match Leedy pedal. Clamp reads, in circular logo, "Leedy Bulldog Holders".

Your "Low Boy" is a Low boy stand..Leedy made two styles of these in the 20's.Your's in the one that the cymbal's mounted side ways,your stand in missing alot of parts to make it work..The other style that Leedy made had the cymbal pull up and down like you see on the hi-hat stands of today...Mikey

Thanks for the replies, guys!

Among the several cheap cymbals, I singled out one lovely little 10 1/8" splash on which I managed to find one small Zildjian stamp. The stamp dates the splash to 1929-1937, I believe. What a find, huh?

I intend to use the cowbell and possibly woodblock in my usual setup. I figure the things are made to be hit, and my 7As probably won't do them any more damage than what they've been subjected to in the past. The rest of the gear will become eye candy :D

Jake the photo above the wood block is if two hoop-mounted bass drum spurs. Valuable parts.

this is great stuff. the guys are doinga fine job as usual with identification. dont clean any of this stuff. i mean a wipe down is ok. but dont scrub up anything. this has perfect patina.

i agree with vintagemore, look real close on that last cymbal to see any stamps or makers marks. it has a good look to it.

Thanks a lot guys!

I've been over the cymbal several times, but can't seem to find anything at all. Although I agree that it does have a good look to it, it is quite thick, so I'm not too sure about its age.

A question regarding the cymbal arms - what kind of a device does the cymbal itself rest on? Every kick-mounted cymbal arm I've seen - including vintage ones - seems to have this device built on.
