Hello, i am hopeful you can help my identify this snare. It came as a mismatch kit with some Fibes Crystalite drums I got. Unfortunately as you will see from pics it is missing the badge. Silver sparkle wrap, 8 lugs, I can find no markings at all in the interior of the drum. In solid condition with very light rust in spot. Please let me know if you need different pics. Thanks in advance for your help. -Amy

Can you take a picture of the interior of the snare? That will tell us a but more. From what I see, the muffler is missing, it is a device that is used to muffle the head from overtones and "ringing". It looks, from the lugs, to be a Ludwig Standard, but that is not really to be considered until we can see the interior. Then again, it could be a rebuilt drum from parts as the strainer is not a Ludwig. It is a replacement.
