Help in dating my Slingy snare Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Howdy,

I bought this Slingerland steel 5x14 snare last week for $100. Using info from the forum (researched badge and throwoff type) I believe it dates to the late 70's. What I find interseting is the stamp on the snare side head. Anyone know when this dates to?? Thanks.

That head dates from the late 70's,so you are spot on in your estimation.
