HELP! Ludwig bongos? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Did Ludwig make bongos in the 60's?? In Grandfather's storage, I found a 1968 ludwig pshch red kick with bongos mounted on it. Now I know that the mount is not original but I'm wondering if the 6 and 8in bongs are also ludwig.

And if so, what should I sell the kick/bongos for? separate or together?

Yes, they're Ludwig. I have a set like them.

The bongo drums aren't really collected much. They're worth a few hundred bucks on a very good day. With non factory holes, less money.

The bass drum alone should be easy to sell. The bongo drums will be much tougher to sell I think.

Ok good. They're ludwig. Ok, so less $ with non-factory holes.

How about the kick? It's in great shape and the brass badge has it at 1968.

What could I hope to get for the kick alone?

BEC, thanks for the info on the bongos. I've got a guy asking me about and I didn't know what to say!

So I appreciate the feedback.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
