Hi Does anyone have any info on this particular snare or the company that built it? No help on internet search for the company! It is an 8 lug 5 1/4 x 14. I have the bottom hoop and snare wires Thanks in advance

That`s interesting. The only drum company I knew of out of Huntsville was Corder but those aren`t Corder/Fibes lugs nor does it look like there are marks where someone switched out the lugs.

I`d like to know the answer myself.

Slinngy lugs or MIJ copies on what loos like Timbale (?). Seems like it's a retro fit from yet another custom drum company no longer in existence.

Which part looks most like a timbale?

a) the throw off?

b) the clearly visible snare beds?

c) the acrylic shell?

And for the bonus question lightning round! TRUE OR FALSE!!!

The original poster mentions being in possession of the bottom rim and snare wires.

Can I have 10 seconds on the clock please?

Hi Spencer, on another post someone was asking about some Fibes drums and I made a statement that I worked at Corder Drum Company in 1977 and it was correctly pointed out to me that Corder Drums were not in existance until 1979. I was a little embarrased to be incorrect about a place I actually worked but it was over 30 years ago. Now I know why I was incorrect. When I first started working there Jim Corders drum company was called "Custom Clear Drum Co". I think you have a prototype snare shell they were experimenting with useing MIJ or ? type lugs. I went in my drum room and dug out this prototype acrylic drum stick he gave me. They broke easily so were never in production. I have this and the broken stick. Check out the printing on the stick.
