1965 Ludwig Hollywood
1970 Ludwig Jazzette
pat, it is just the three drum? if so probably in the $350.00-$500.00 range!
Is that a Yamaha L arm on the mounted tom,and was the original Ludwig bass maunt replaced? If so ,it's worth less than if it was original.Like Caddy said, they are just killer drums,3 ply maple poplar/maple.Keep them and play them, you won't find many that sound as good.

These are pre-76 drums. They have pointy badges and 3ply with re-rings. Serial numbers can be misleading. What I thought was a 76 red sparkle kit ended up being early 70s.

The L arm is not part of the set. Everything else is original. The bass claws are different but I have the originals. A friend had these stored away and just gave them to me cause they didn't know where they came from and didn't play music. Stoked on the find. Had no idea what I stumble on. Sounds like I have no choice but to set them up and play them. Tough call cause the Gretch set I have already sounds pretty good. Is It expensive to have parts re-chromed? Live near the ocean and there is some pitting on the metal parts...
It's Mahogany Cortex actually.. Nice drums!
you can buy replacement claws nice and shiny cheaper than rechroming very nice drum set....
