Long ago I bought my son a Export set and they sounded great. I always liked Pearl drums a lot. Nice looking kit you have and that's really cool they came back to you again! Don't let them go this time.

These are "early"Exports,due to their standard as opposed to "hair band"depths.Early-mid eighties,and you may be able to decipher the serial #s.

I do not plan to let them get away i have already told my son he can never sell them if he wants new ones he has to buy them and give me mine back......

I remember the era well... Before the big 'square' drums of a few years later, as mentioned above. I was taking private lessons at the local music store from the late 70's into the late 80's and saw a lot of Pearl and CB kits pass through there.

If you need hoops, try looking at the CB-700 hoops (early CB kits share the same lugs too) as they are the same from my experience on the export kits (later CB lugs were different). I had a similar era Powersonic kit and the lugs and hoops were the same on that too. It seemed all the Taiwan kits were using the same lugs and hoops.
