Hi there thx for the quick reply!

I can not save the images from the website, for they are forbidden to copy or whatever.

Here is the link with 3 images of the complete set, I think the one at the right is with the original finish.

I don't think I am educated enough to tell what it is, looks kinda Sonor to me, but dunno.

Anyway, why was it rewrapped?!

Don't know why they are rewrapped.

But maybe they are just de-wrapped and finished the outside shells?

I will check this with the current owner.

EDIT: The owner did remove the wrap because of the bad state it was in and was damaged, and then he painted it. With Laquer. Don't know if it's the right translation for "verflak" :)

Now here is a second drumkit who'm i think is a bit different and a bit older, because of the tom bracket on the bassdrum.

Owner doesn't know much of them, but he is selling it for a small price. It's in mint condition and all parts are there, also that snare is incl. Als owner doesn't know much of that snare.

Is this maybe a little more value than the owner would think???

He is selling it for (asking for it) : €175,- (around the price of $200)

What do you think of this kit?!

Looks like a very well restored MIJ to me. Looks like they did some painting on the inside shell?

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

I'm sorry, I thought YOU dewrapped it. I think it looked way better with the original wrap. Could still be good drums, tho.

"verflak" = "varnish."

A simple way to I.D. the drums would be check the grain. If it's vertical; MIJ, if it runs around, probably a European made item. Tough call without being able to see the direction of the grain.

Too many great drums to list here!
