welcome from another drummer of yesteryear. glad to see you hear this is a fun site full of cool people and did i say drums and more drums

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I heard something 'pop' when I saw that red/white/blue Slingy kit. I may have to excuse myself.

Hey Leedybdp,You show-off glad to have you on this forum.I to was on the other forum-{onedrum77} but been here for sometime...Stick around you will love it..Mikey

WMP vice White Sparkle ... Now that's interesting. I've not seen that combo before on a patriotic kit.

The drums originally came to me with the White Sparkle bands between the Blue and Red Glass Glitters. The white was discontinued because it usually delaminated, and allowed moisture to build up betwen the clear top layer and white with glitter specks under layer. I replaced the white bands with the correct pattern Slingerland WMP. Of course, there are the usual little gaps between the bands of wrap. But, from two feet away, it's not noticeable.
