I recently found this site while trying to date my drums. It's an old ludwig standard, i think seventies, but not sure. They have the triangle badge, but the red and black tiger stripe finish it has isn't on the catalog for ludwig. Also, the strainer was only used till 1970 i think. The shells are a wood with some kind of composite on the inside. I don't really care what they're worth, i'm not selling, i love them! I just was curious as to when they were made. I gig with them, record with them, and they always sound great! Also, it's a four piece with the cymbal stand off the bass drum. Maybe someone will have an idea. I'm looking forward to being a member of this site, and really appreciate that it's here! If anyone is interested, you can check out pics of these drums in action, with my band "Dr. Zarr's Amazing Funk Monster" at www.funkmonster.com

Your probably correct on them being standards and your 70's date is also probably correct. Can we get a picture to confirm that?
I have to say that is one FUNKY band you have. I dig the hair!
Welcome to the group
