HOLY GRAIL Gretsch kit found! Last viewed: 0 seconds ago

Well, I was all set to pull the five grand out of my wallet (my walkin' around money) until I saw the tom was missing the bottom rim. Deal breaker for me.
But seriously, this is a beautiful and impressive set which I'm sure will find a good home. Makes me agonize over what my 1946 WMP round badge set (13-16-20 w/matching snare), which I sold for $100 in 1974, would go for now.

Look in far left pic.....rim is there........
Might be a dumb question but why are the rack tom tone controls facing forward? Also how far from PA?
Just has the Tom backwards....
If you look in old Gretsch catalogs...they even show them set up like that in the endorses section....
Lots of jazz pros did that.......telling everyone that they have the best?
Kit is still available!
Looks like a beautiful set and good investment but I need to know how far I'm driving to get it. I'd much rather spend time and travel costs than trust shipping. If you mentioned the location earlier and I missed it I apologize.
I believe Blair is in Michigan. Go get 'em!
Wow, great find. I'd love to own them but would need to sell nearly every drum I currently own. Beautiful.
Best of luck on finding a buyer.
