Have only texted a little.........

I DON'T KNOW HOW MY KIDS (or anyone else, for that matter) DO THAT! When I try I usually end up giving up 'cuz if I put it in the mode where it's trying to "predict" what I'm going to say, I get frustrated 'cuz IT DON'T THINK LIKE I DO!

And, since I don't have a fancy, slide-out keyboard, I have to try to push the keys enough to "roll" to the right letter, and IT TAKES ME FOREVER so I usually get frustrated and just dial the number!

One of these days, I'm going to get a smart phone that has "voice-to-text." Then I'll be able to do it!

Sorry for the rant...

"Coordinating conjuction" John? Yes perhaps, but I'd argue the "For" in For Trade is actually an introductory preposition acting as an adverb. Of course, I'm splitting hairs here, but that's what makes the VDF so great... debate, whether we're arguing 3-ply shells vs 5-ply, or complaining about cell phones.

I love the dynamic evolution of these threads and marvel at the meandering direction the topics sometimes take, but to return to the original opening of this thread:

How could a VDF veteran with over 2,200 posts have missed one of my favorite subforums?
