How many holes to fit Ludwig 1960 fold out spurs? Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Loading...

Just got last nite...

a 14 by 22 Trans Badge Luddy Red Sparkle BD I bought off CL a month or so ago.......a friend brought it over.....it was 40 miles away.

Anyway, the is only 1 hole per side to mount the fold out spurs.........is that right?

I haven't seen a Trans Badge BD in years,so can't recall........

any help is appreciated!

Blair.

I don't think that drum takes the standard spur mounts, because they have two holes. The spur mount for that drum actually looks like a folded over metal strip, with green felt under it.I'm not sure what the're called ,but thats what I remember.

That's right.....these are the correct, early fold-outs,but only 1 hole drilled.....doesn't seem right..........and some of the screws on them were non factory

Blair - Steve is right. Those folded over leg mounts were secured with one bolt.

Yes one hole mount on the spur's.The spur mounts look in shape like an up-side down"U" piece of metal. On the bottom of these mounts the mounting screw that goes into shell, the top would also have a screw with a wing-nut to hold the spur onto the mount...Mikey
