Ok....so here's what is going on.

Many of you know who I am from past discussion and deals - but most of you don't know my story.

I am a substitute teacher during the school year in the public schools. Summers have been difficult for me to get work (42 yrs old and overqualified for most seasonal work) and this summer I am very underemployed - only working 10-15 hours a week at McDonalds at a supplementary part time job (that I also work during the school year). Meanwhile, I am a seminary graduate (2012) and have yet to be hired in a ministry position.

My dire circumstances come from the fact that I am low-income and despite periods of underemployment like this summer, my high child support and rent still calls for $ that I struggle to have. So....hence my sell off of all this drumstuff to pay bills and stay out of jail and avoid eviction. Yes, I know this sounds like a well thought-out fantastic pitch, and I only wish these circumstances were not true.

Here is a list of items I am selling. I have tried to price these items fairly, as I don't want to take advantage of any of your compassion and I need things to move. Please see the following list and view this photobucket page for pics.

I prefer to sell to you here as opposed to the bay. Also please consider the class act of covering the 3% PP fee - I think we all should do that on here, as I do when buying. Very small amount, yet is significantly costly for the seller selling so much stuff.

Vintage Pearl-made 8 lug chrome/steel snare(s) 5.5x14 (Clean one is pictured) I believe Mikey (&jonnistix) loves these – for good reason - These are from around 1969. Notice the adjustable butts. I have 2 of these: $45 Clean one, (see photographed in parts); $35 uncleaned (see pics of this assembled one) Clean one will have no consumables, Unclean one will have top head only. Both of these have no badge - will go with any of your Pearl or Pearl stencil kits - late 60s/early 70s. These came with kits with the battleship lugs and possibly other lug styles as well. Bumpin this up a bit..... and a few things to cover here.

I am honoring first come first serve, but can not be held up by potential buyers not responding to my correspondence. This is not widespread, but I just want to make it clear that we are here to boogie - let's dance and not get in the way of others on the dancefloor. If you decide to pass, just say so so that others interested can snag it up. This is not directed to any particular party, just something I have run into and it makes me wonder if I should rethink the policy. $ talks and I am willing to wait for paychecks to arrive and things like that....but within reason. Discuss matters like this and we can work this out, or I will have to sell to the other parties asking about these items.

Thanks to the quick and easy buyers - I appreciate our getting it done. Quick simple wins wins are beautiful.

Shooting more pics today and will have more cymbals posted by the end of this week. Some more good stuff on the way.

BTW - (after temporarily suspended from the sale) Zildjian Mastersound bottom back on the market good to go -

Hi,

I'm looking for two wooden 22" bass drum hoops that would work on a blue Vistalite I am restoring. I don't mind if they need repainting or new inlay, just need to be right size and wood. I picked them up locally and they only had one metal hoop.

Also looking for spurs for the same drum. The ones with it were redone with black powdercoat.

Finally (long shot) a Fibes bass drum spur.

Thx and I have money in Paypal waiting to go if you have any of these items.

Hi Peter,

I have a line of guys I am working through on the Luddy stuff....one the 2nd guy. I will be posting more specific info on the list in regards to the Luddy stuff when I get home later tonight.

Unfortunately the hoops are SOLD, I have the curved legs, but the mounts for them were shot (from those crazy rockers back in the day standing on bass drums??).

No Fibes stuff.
