hi everyone...

I just bought my first vintage kit (slingerland)

I have toyed with the idea for years, but now that i have finally bought one, i am hooked. that is where the trouble starts...

i bought a new set 6 months ago, but now it has been cast aside. the slingerland sounds so good, and it just "feels" better than the new kit.

it must be the old wood, or the fact that things just arent made like they used to. i have been on ebay, just searching... buying parts etc. looking for projects, and old kits... i have a feeling this is how it begins...

Yes, that is how it is. It becomes an enjoyable illness. Yes, I have had a variety of drums in my hands, but I'm still in the hunt for a few certain drums.

Ebay is the place for parts, also post here on the forum if you need anything. Someone might have it.
