and the guy wants at least $1375.00 for them. You can buy a really nice kit for that.

Looks like he also worked the bearing edge at a sharp 45 degree cut. This will change the sound of those old slings in a very bad way from my experience.
At most, that drum set is worth $300 as a beater set. Another $300 might make it presentable to take out in public. The small tom and bass drum look to be Stage Band models while the floor tom looks to be a Sound King model. The largest part of the $300 value is for the floor tom if it is a righteous Slingerland drum.
But, the ride cymbal has a "raindrop" sound so sought after...
