Sorta like buying a pure bred dog, huh? I submitted a $185 offer and the seller liked it - good deal or not?

Thanks, I just love these pre-packaged student snare sets - recently picked up a Rogers Tower Student Special that also included a case and stand.

Slingerland always seems to be the "ugly step sister" of vintage drums and is priced accordingly and I can't understand why.

I think that you got a good deal for the ensemble that includes one of my all time favorite snare drum models. I'm still trying to remember what that little doo dad with the white plastic tab is used for?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Awesome deal and the wrap looks like new. Love the orig heads just picked up a slingystudent snare circa 56-59 for same price. Slings are the best. Kids today are ignorant about slings. Good for us :)

Really nice! Looks brand new and with tall the extras a huge bonus. Will be a nice thing to have. Yes like Leedybdp was wondering about what is that little plastic tab for next to the drum key? I have never seen one. Thanks for the pics!
