RogerSling - thanks for the correction!

From RogerSling

Hey guys, you veered off onto a goat path. There are no extra holes. There is just a missing cymbal mount. Read it again.

There are four holes in the front of the 1964 14X20 bass...explain !!

I`m new at this and had too look,...the cow bell is rim mounted and saw no cymbal mounts on the jazz or jam sets.

Is it a mixed kit ??

Dunno, man. I just went by what the seller stated, which is all we can do unless we have it in hand to inspect it. He states, " There are some extra holes where shell-mounted cymbal holders once were." Seemed pretty clear to me.

I see 6 holes too - I am OK with with 2 holes offset center for a cymbal holder (if they even came with them in the 60s?) so what could the other 2 sets of holes be for?

70s Slingy WMP
70s Ludwig Standard Aqua Mist
60s Ludwig Champagne Sparkle Downbeat
and a whole bunch of snares and hardware

Before this turns into one of "those" threads, could we hold off speculating until one of you who are interested emails and gets the skinny on this? That would save a lot of time, frustration, and bandwidth.
