thank yousorry to insistthe guy says "from the seventies", so he may be a liar ? it's important for us here to know if he's trying to rip people off.

I tend to like to give people the benefit of the doubt first. It may be that someone else has told him that they were from the 70s and he has taken their word for it. But he IS mistaken at best.

Do not waste your money on these. The don't look like any Ludwig drum I've ever seen - made in U.S. or anywhere. No badges. Keep looking. :)

The hardware is most definately 90s MIT Ludwig Rockers. The badges were mostly just stickers (sometimes thin metal that was held on by screws) and easily removed and not installed with the grommet anyway (at least on the ones I've seen and handled).

In any event, not worth much...

There in the '94 and '98 Ludwig Rocker Catalogs on Vintagedrumguide. They would've had Ludwig Rocker stickers for badges. Perhaps they were removed from this set but those are definitely the 90's Rocker lugs and the wing nuts on the tom mounts say Ludwig.

Thanks for the clarification. So...vintage 90s Rockers? The 80s version (I have) look nothing like the mess from the MIT 1990s.

Don't know whether-or-not you call them vintage... but here is a link to a 90s catalog...

yes these are the MIT Rockers. I have the same set only in black. and are my current playing drums. they are not that bad of drums once you get some good heads and tuned up good. if you are buying for a kid or someone that just wants to have fun with them or a practice kit they are a good set to go with at a low price, no more then 200$ with accessories 100$ without. i think mine are around '94s. they are a cheap beginners kit.

as far as badges...this is what they should look like
