I will not part out, i'm going to sell as a kit.

The big question is should I....

put new heads on ?

get all the pieces that are missing

and or just sell as is ???? if so sell on Ebay, on here or what ????

Thanks again for all help !!!!!!!!!!!

this is no ordinary "extra kit" hanging around the house, this is a dream kit to many of us poor folk. but if you are insisting on selling....my opinion...i don't think i would worry bout new heads, most likely the buyer will have certain heads they would put on her. as far as the missing parts...i don't think you would have a hard time finding them here, and at a decent price. i think i would try to get the missing parts, but i'm sure if you were to type up a add in the for sale section here, you'd have no trouble selling them as is.

so if i were you, i'd put an add here first for a week or so then if nothing happens, put them on ebay and post the ebay link here too. good luck with your sell, hopefully you will change your mind tho.

btw...what would be your bottom dollar on asking for this kit?

I have no idea what I will ask, thats why maybe ebay would be a good choice so people can bid on it

Not even sure where to start the bidding at $

Not to dissuade you from using ebay, but you'll also have to pay up a certain percentage for their fees. Shipping would still be an issue at $100+ dollars, but there are forum members across the US, which are pretty creative on helping each other with pickup a deliveries.

Someone will chime in with an honest/fair price for your drums. This if you really want to sell them. Mind Blowi

You could get the parts, clean the drums, buy some standard Remo Ambassador heads and give them a try. You might be surprised. This has the chance of becoming one missed opportunity you'll eventually end up regretting.

Guitar Center/Musician's Friend frequently run coupons ($20 off $100, 20% off $100+). Remo Ambassador heads all the way around will run you around $130 after coupon. If you do decide to sell them, the new owner might be able to reuse them if they are not what they want on this particular kit. Besides, $200+ in parts and heads is only a small fraction of total expense for kit that could fetch a couple $1,000.

You should at least have drumaholic appraise those K`s for you.

Good catch! Those K's could add substantially to the over-all value of the kit. I'd sell the K's and the drums separately, myself. Hit two potential markets and insure you get a fair price for both.

The kit, as it stands, with missing parts and in need of detailing will bring in $950 - $1000. just for what it is. Restored? $1400 (and up) is a good place to start for a nice, complete, player-grade 64'.

Too many great drums to list here!
