can anyone accurately identify this kit ? got in on that day in 1976, I turn 50 this year and still have it- I am getting it restored by Dave Carrera in Uxbridge UK

Most of the kit is mid-1960's Premier. The hi-hat stand and snare stand visible are from the Premier Lokfast series made in the late 60's and early l970's. Can't see the snare drum well in those photos.

A kit like yours (and mine) first appears in the 1951 catalog as a Premier "55", later in 1958 it's a Premier "54" and shows it still in production to 1963.

I think the snare was a 2001- alas long gone- the gig pic is from school playing santana and thin lizzy covers in the assembly hall- I used the kit in college and up until 1983 and kept it in various lofts and basements ever since.

It looks as a pre-internatonal outfit "57" - with higher floor tom 16 x 20" (real head size is 16,5/16") and 12 x 8" rack tom (real size is 11,7/8").

Nice and good sounding kit.
