So, I picked this up on a whim the other day and the more I researched, i came to find out it was a Ludwig. I believe it is a 1928 chinese tom-tom. I had found an article saying it was part of the Roy C Knapp trap set.

Just trying to find out more info on it...not really anything out there on the net....if anyone knows a little more or even a value, let me know!

it indeed looks like a 20's chinese tom-tom to me. i think some of the ludwig models had a label on them. if its in decent condition, maybe 100 dollars ballpark. they are neat items. especially cool if someone is putting a 20's kit together.

Thanks Mike!

It is in pretty good condition, but was hoping for a little more $ than that! Not sure if it is a Ludwig though...cant seem to find markings, but i did find an article that said only the larger tom had the Ludwig markings. Oh well, it is a pretty cool drum and my Father will be very happy to add it to his collection.

again, thanks for checking it out and giving some feedback Mike
