If anyone is interested...2006 Ludwig Classic Maple Kit Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

This has been my main gigging kit for the past 7 years and I'm selling it to fund the purchase of a vintage kit. Always been in cases when not on stage. Send me a PM or email at [email protected] if interested. Asking $1000 plus shipping for all 4 drums. More pics available. CL ad below.

Thanks, Mike. I was holding on to these to take on the road, but just love the sound and look of vintage drums so much better. I'll just take the '58 Luddys on the road instead. They are restored anyway, so I'm not too worried about them. I already bought the '57 Slingy kit, so now I need to recoop some dough. These are indeed nice drums and have done me well over the years.

Question...are you (or anyone here) a member on DFO and willing to post these up for me?

Thanks,

Aaron

At first glance it looks like a vintage kit to me, and probably sounds like a winner. What is about "vintage" this kit doesn,t give you?..just asking.

I see you answered my question.

Hit like you mean it!!

Yeah...it looks kind of vintage...and does sound like a winner! I have even had several people ask me what year it was, thinking it was vintage. I guess I just like the warmness of a vintage kit...plus the old hardware is just so much cooler. Modern hardware is pretty dependable, though...

I played Pearl and Yamaha for years but the last 3 I've turned to Vintage Drums. My 76' Ludwigs sound better than anything new I've played or heard. Even my 6-ply Luddy's sound better.

Do you ship to Italy?

Hi Andrea,

I have never shipped to Italy before, but from what I hear it can be difficult? Send me a PM if you are interested and have had an entire kit sent to you before. I'm guessing it would have to be sent in 2 boxes and would probably cost a few hundred dollars to ship. If we could work it out, I would not be against shipping this kit to Italy.
