I have sold a lot on eBay and CL but should I also advertise at reverb.com, DFO and other drum forums? BTW, I'm the guy trying to sell a late 70s black Vistalite kit.

I've sold three kits on Reverb this year. Small drum market on there but very good and pro buyers. Sold a refurb'd WFL to Electric Lady. I have one kit I'm about to list but I'm not sure if I'd bother listing on DFO, although VDF is one place I'll list.
