Definitely MIJ, probably very late 60's to early 70's. The vertical grain mahogany shell gives it away, as does the Slingerland copy lugs. A really nice WMP pattern!

Agreed.. Most probably early 70's made in japan concert tom converted to floor tom.. Usually MIJ drums have there badges, but it isn't uncommon to see a drum like yours missing it's original badge..
