I just stumbled upon this 1943/4 Ludwig Victory kit:

Sizes: 14x26, 7x11, 13x15 and 7x14 snare.
Not much metal apart from the rods, lug inserts, and mounts. I don't have any additional info apart from what I can see on the drums themselves.
Small tom is mahogany inside, floor tom is maple, and the snare and bass drum are painted white (but smooth, so I assume also maple.) Dates range from Sept 1943 to July 1944.
